Naacemark Assessment Forms
Naace produce assessment forms for
- Early Years Establishments
- Primary Schools
- Secondary Schools
- Special Schools
Each of the assessment forms are based around the same 10 criteria but contain information and guidance specific to each of the establishments.
The guidance and examples of evidence provided alongside each of the ten Naacemark criteria are to help schools to put together their portfolio. The guidance also ensures consistency of judgement in schools by Naacemark Assessors. A school needs to demonstrate that it is meeting all the criteria of the Naacemark at the time of its assessment. If a school is not demonstrating that it is meeting all criteria but gives a commitment to meet them in the future, it will be reassessed later. The Naacemark cannot be gained purely through commitment to the criteria.
A school should provide evidence against each of the criteria for assessment. This should be presented in the form of a portfolio with the evidence indexed against the appropriate attached Assessment Form. Assessors will use the guidance to assist them in their judgements when they are assessing a portfolio. This document will be updated as necessary to ensure a rigorous assessment procedure.
