This area of the website contains information and guidance on the effective use of interactive whiteboard to support teaching and learning, teaching resources, training materials and much more.

    The National Whiteboard Network was launched in May 2004 and is part of the Primary National Strategy.

    Its aims are:
    - To improve the quality of learning and teaching and raise standards 
       through the use of ICT
    - To provide professional development materials on making use of
       interactive whiteboards
    - To provide training materials and examples of effective use Primary
       schools
    - To build a professional learning community to develop, collate, share,
       improve and disseminate best practice more widely

    This site is being developed to support all interactive whiteboard users with a wide range of resources, guidance and the opportunity to share resources

  • SMART Board User Guides This area of the website contains a range of user guides to support with the use of SMART products.
  • Interactive Whiteboard Suppliers This area of the website contains a list of audio visual suppliers that have worked in Salford Schools and have delivered a good service and provided value for money.
